Who am I?

I am Katharine Murta Adams, but you can call me Katy.

I am a Visual Alchemist and Storyteller, as well as a Senior Creative Designer, UX Designer, Illustrator and Artist.

And, a Mother of Dogs.

What does that all mean?

It means I love the magic of blending the technical with the creative.

I draw on my iPad, and design with Adobe Illustrator/Adobe InDesign/Figma; I implement SAFe Agile principles, fool around with code; and remain a creative rebel.

I love learning. And storytelling.

And doggies. I love doggies. Trust me on that one.

I have spent years working as a Senior Creative Designer, with expertise in creating and directing in-product media, designing and developing marketing material using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, as well as other software.

I possess strong knowledge of content engagement strategies to drive successful brand awareness and top-of-the-funnel customer journey mapping via various platforms.

I am also passionate about understanding users’ needs and leveraging design thinking principles to craft meaningful and innovative digital experiences.

I am certified in the Google UX Design Certificate Program (2022). I am also certified in SAFe as a Leading Agilist (2020) and as a POPM (2023).
